WELCOME!
to the Florida Pathfinder website
Pathfinders is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

What makes Florida Conference Pathfinders different from other conference?
In the Florida Conference, the title "Pathfinders" is an umbrella term that covers children from pre-K to 12th grade. We no longer use age to determine what Pathfinder Class (or level) a child can be part of. The Pathfinder Levels are as follows:
- Adventurer Pathfinders: Pre-K - Little Lamb 2nd grade - Sunbeam
Kinder - Eager Beavers 3rd grade - Builder
1st grade - Busy Bee 4th grade - Helping Hand
- eTracker Pathfinders: 5th grade - Friend 7th grade - Explorer
6th grade - Companion 8th grade - Ranger
- Varsity Pathfinders: 9th grade - Voyager 11th grade - Navigator
10th grade - Pioneer 12th grade - Guide
- Master Guide Pathfinders: Graduates from Secondary Education or be 18 years of age.
Level Studies
The number one goal of Florida Pathfinders is to develop disciples for Jesus. Pathfinders are encouraged to complete their Levels studies to learn more about Jesus, by digging deep into the Bible and into God's second book, nature.
In an effort to make the levels fit Florida's unique Pathfinder ministry, changes were made to all six of the North American Division (NAD) levels, two more levels were added, and the age to begin Master Guide was raised. For this reason, our edited levels are called "Florida Levels" Here is an outline of the changes:
- Friend, Companion, Explorer, & Ranger: The NAD give many options for the completion of the Basic Level Study, which often causes confusion. To avoid this confusion, Florida has simplified the process by listing specific requirements (no options) to complete the Basic and Advances Levels. Keep in mind that the teacher helps and student diaries currently available are all based on the NAD "options method" of completion.
- Voyager, Pioneer, Navigator, & Guide: Two more levels were created to cover all four grades of secondary education. Due to the fact that these levels of study are for "high school-aged" Pathfinders, Florida Conference Pathfinders felt that Pioneer and Navigator should be more spiritually focused, and that the young people working on them should be able to complete them on their own. The NAD levels of Voyager and Guide were also drastically overhauled (with the exception of a few requirements) to follow the same approach. Keep in mind that the teacher helps and student diaries currently available for Voyager and Guide are based on the NAD requirements.
